Perhaps you’ve been reading this blog but haven’t felt confident about applying to be a Happiness Engineer. Or maybe you’ve applied previously but we weren’t hiring in your region. Or maybe you’ve felt confident in the past but the time hasn’t been right for you. Whatever the case, if you feel that you might have the skills required to become a Happiness Engineer, we’d love to hear from you between now and October 9, 2020. We’re accepting applications for all regions.

If you’re fairly new to this blog or to the idea of applying as a Happiness Engineer, you might consider giving the following items a quick read as you think about whether the job might be interesting, whether your skills match our needs, and what the work and the culture might look like.

  1. Wow! Thanks a lot for this awesome motivational post. This is my dream to Join Automattic as HE. Hope I can be a Full-Time Happiness Engineer and provide my best to the Automattic dynamic team.

  2. I did not receive any specific guidelines around my previous applications but I have gained further technical skills and done a deep dive on all things HE. I have never wanted a role as much as I want this, and I sincerely hope that the third time will be the charm.
